Dedicated, Self-less & Giving...
Amy was key to the formation of The Touchdown Club as a community organizer. Her selflessness and giving nature shined as she dedicated herself to professionalizing a handful of well intended parents into a non-profit vital to the CVHS Football Program.
In the initial years of The Touchdown Club, Amy was critical to its establishment as a non-profit and set-up Spirit Wear sales at games. When not adding her business acumen, Amy supported concession stand sales, set-up team meals at local establishments, and setup the JV & Varsity Awards Banquets.
Amy was passionate in her support of the Centerville Wildcats due to her two sons – Jared and Eric. She was in the stands for every game, dragged her neighbors to games in cold and wet weather and energized those around her in the stands. Her enthusiasm showed us all that she loved every minute! Amy supported our kids and this Scholarship will continue her example.
Amy passed away unexpectedly at the age of 49.
The TDC has set-up a Scholarship Fund in Amy's memory. The Amy Rondeau Scholarship will provide an annual $1,000 Scholarship to one Senior Football Player who best represents CHVS Football based on requirements set-up by The TDC. Service to the Team and the Community will play heavily in the selection of the recipient of the Amy Rondeau Scholarship.
The TDC accepts donations for this fund throughout the year.
